Christmas came and it was wonderful!

We had a wonderful Christmas this year. Ben and I celebrated together before we left for Birmingham on Dec 23rd. I got a digital SLR! I'm so excited about learning more about using it and hopefully honing my skills!  Ben got a new jacket (to add to his collection!) new shoes and some accessories for his bicycle. We spent Christmas in Birmingham this year and it was great, we ate great food and spent some good quality family time. We also were fortunate enough to go skiing with my dad and family. We skiied in Snowmass, Colorado for 4 days! There was so much snow! We had a great time with my sisters and Ben learned to keep up with us! After the ski trip, mom, Gene, Kate and Gabby drove to Birmingham for us to celebrate Christmas "Cracker Barrel Style." We ate lunch together and opened presents in the parking lot! Definately a first, but it was worth getting to see them! Here are some of my favorite pictures:
