Ode to St. Valentine :)

Ben and I kept our tradition of staying in on Valentines and cooking something delicious together. It's our chance to raid The Fresh Market for the best ingredients and try out new recipes. Its also the one time a year that I will buy meat that costs more than $2.99/pound!
This years menu consisted of the following:
Filet cooked in a cast iron skillet
Homemade ceasar salad (Thanks Hannah for the recipe)
Southwestern cornbread (Thanks Mom for the additional cast iron pan)
Homemade cheesecake (Thanks Mom for the new springform pan!) with Buttercream Frosting and Blueberry compote
And of course a couple of bottles of wine (that cost more that $7!) and a bottle of champagne to top it all off!
