Finished project!

Our deck had a built-in L shaped seating area when we first bought the house. Ben decided we should take it apart and extend the deck the extra 2 feet to meet the house (why the previous owners didn't do this to begin with is beyond us)

So I realize it's hard to tell where the bench used to be, so here it is from another angle, see in the back where the dark planks touch the house...that's it! Oh, how could I forget...we only had to buy a box of screws, (1) 4x4 post & (2) 2x8's

And I couldn't resist posting these cute homemade ghosts :) Plastic bags as the head and .50 cents worth of white fabric! Adorable
