My Gabby Queen started chemotherapy today for her cancer. Please pray for her to be strong and keep her positive attitude about beating this thing. It's only stage 1 and the doctors are optimistic, but this is only the begining of a long 5 week journey of chemo and radiation therapy for her. I hate that I'm not in Knoxville to help take her to appointments and support her. I was devestated when mom called to tell me that she was diagnosed with cancer, both of us had immediately assumed the worst, I am relieved to hear that it's stage 1 and treatable. Just keep her in your thoughts, she has a lot more living to do if you ask me! She still has to see Kate graduate from UT and Emily graduate high school and hopefully meet mine and Ben's first little one later on down the line! She means so much to me and I can't imagine not having her here.
